E.L.F. Haul, Swatches and Reviews

I've been buying a lot of ELF these last few months, either from their website or in stores. So here are the things I've bought.

All swatches are in natural light.

E.L.F. Mineral Eyeshadows: $3
Right swatch dry left swatch wet, over concealer.

TEMPTRESS
matte dusty mauve

NATURAL
peachy beige

ENCHANTING
matte dirty nude

SWEET
pink

ROYAL
deep purple

DREAMY
oceany blue

ELEGANT
yellow nude
had to be swatched over Milk jumbo eyeshadow pencil because it blended too much into my skin

TRENDY
shimmery taupe

GLAMOROUS
burgundy

OUTDOORSY
emerald green with black under tone

With the mineral eyeshadows, the mattes kind of suck. Though I only got 2 they feel a little chalky and are hard to build up and blend. The rest are just fine. There's a whole lot of shimmer to them and they are quite pigmented. My favorites would be Elegant and Outdoorsy.

Eyeliners: cream eyeliner $3, pen and liquid eyeliners $1
(left to right)
Cream Eyesliner in Midnight, Waterproof Liquid Pen in Black, Liquid Eyeliner in Coffee, Liquid Eyeliner in Silver, Liquid Eyeliner in Plum, Liquid Eyeliner in Black

These all aren't the best. The cream eyeliner is a little hard to get on and isn't very blue, it's more black blue. I think if I would have gotten this in black it would be much better. The pen was only a dollar so I figured I'd try it, it isn't that black and is really hard to put on. The felt tip freys at the end. Coffee is not a good brown at all, it looks like a real muddy eww taupe. The silver is nice but you kind of have to put it on in layers because it streaks. Plum is a really dark purple that looks almost black and along with Coffee is hard to apply. The Black is fantastic and is my new go to. With the liquids, you may want to use a different brush because the ones they come with are really stiff. Avoid any of the other colors, stick with Black.

Element Custom Eyes eyeshadows: $1 each eyeshadow and pallet
.
(top) Golden Glow, Mocha (bottom) Sage
(top) Wisteria (bottom) Pink Ice, Truly Pink
These are quite nice. I have no complaints about them, they're a good deal and I do recommend them.

Eye Transformer: $3
Mine was broken so they refunded me my money. Comes with a little brush. These work, it all depends on the color your using them with on how it turns out. One eyeshadow becomes 5 with this and thats pretty cool.

Essentials Brightening Eye Color quads: $1
Silver Lining
Pretty N' Pink
Luxe
Matte Mauve
Again, the mattes kinda suck. They are all rather pigmented and blend easy *except for the mattes*. They are are really good deal for only a dollar and they have a lot more different colored quads. They are shaped funny though and that makes it hard sometimes to get a brush in there.

Mineral Eyeshadow Primer $3 Eyelid Primer $1
The mineral primer came in a tube like the other one but the wand was broken so I had to cut it open and depot it, they refunded me my money for this one as well. They aren't that good, definitely invest in a high end one. Good for quick trips to the store but definitely not all day because they do crease. They don't make colors any brighter like UDPP or Two Face.

Studio Blushes $3 All Over Color Stick $1
(left to right) Blushing Rose, Mellow Mauve, Candid Coral, Peachy Keen, Golden Peach
the all over color stick is swatched on top of them all at the knuckles
The blushes are fantastic. I recommend you buy them all. Very pigmented, very smooth, don't smell funny. A steal and a must. The All Over Color Stick I use as a highlighter. Really shimmer and smells icky, don't use it on your mouth.

GLOSSES
(left to right) Minty Lip Gloss $3 Boston, Chicago, Hypershine Gloss $1 Sugar Plum, Poinsettia Red, Lipstain $3 First Date, 2 in 1 Conditioning Gloss $3 Love It
(left to right, top then bottom) Boston, Chicago, First Date, Sugar Plum, Poinsettia Red, Love It
natural lips
Minty Lip Gloss in Boston
Minty Lip Gloss in Chicago
Hypershine Gloss in Sugar Plum
Hypershine Gloss in Poinsettia Red
Conditioning Gloss in Love It
Lip Stain in First Date
with gloss over
The Minty Lipglosses are awesome! They smell/taste like mint and give a nice sheen of color and glitter. The Hypershines are nice, not sticky and don't taste bad neither, flavorless. The 2 in 1 is really goopy since its two glosses coming into one. You have to squeeze into the color part or else you might only get the clear gloss. The stain is kinda hard to put on with out streaking, you have to do it in layers. It gets a little sticky so I don't suggest using it without the gloss. When you do use the gloss use a separate brush so the color doesn't stick to the wand. My favorite out of all of them would be Boston.

Nail Polish in Fair Pink $1 Shine Eraser Sheets $1
The nail polish isn't great, it's really water and takes way too many coats to look right. The sheets are nice, they work and are cheap for 50 of them.

E.L.F. is great. Over all good quality for not a lot of money. Check it out, pick up something you like. They sell them at Target and Kmart too I believe. You can also find them at Dollar Trees but it's usually only a few things buried under other things. www.eyeslipsface.com to order online.

♥XO♥

All products were bought with my own money. All thought are my own and honest. I was not compensated in any way for doing this review.
