Glamour Doll Eyes Twi-shadows Review and Swatches

Alright so I am IN LOVE with Glamour Doll Eyes eyeshadows, and they happen to have a collection of eyeshadows called twi-shadows. Now twi-shadows are no different from the regular eyeshadows they are just colours inspired by the Twilight Saga books and have a different sticker label then the normal line. So far there are 10 twi-shadows and I know Vee, the owner, has said she plans to make more so I can't wait for that. So lets get started:

I bought the collection, called Eternal Bonds collection, in sample size jars which costs S17.75 and you get about 1 gram of product. They also sell sample baggies which cost $11.25 with .5 grams of product, and full size jars for $20 with 2-2.5 grams without a sifter and 1.5-2 grams with a sifter. You can also buy each colour individually, a sample baggie is $1.50, sample jar is $2.50 and a full jar is $6 each.

The colours are: Family Secret which represents the Cullen family as a whole and is a pearly white that is more of a sheen. Skin of a Killer which also represents the family but for when they are out in the sun, it is a pearly white with gold sparkle. The Perfect Cure is a beigey brown with gold and green sparkle and it is for Carlisle. Dear Mom is of course for Esme and it is a light pink that has a rather blue or purple shimmer at times. Just Bitten is a gorgeous burgundy wine colour that has gold sparkle in it. Big Brother is a greyish green that really reminds me of a vintage 20's green, Emmetts's colour. Mood Swing is a shimmery grey blue for Jasper. Premonition is for Alice and it is a dark lavender with a grey base. Mind Reader is a matte REALLY dark blue with silver shimmer in it, Edward's. Black Ice is Rosalie's matte black with silver shimmer colour.

These are the colours in their jars and in natural sun light.

(it took me forever to get good pictures because my hands shake so if they're a little blurry I'm sorry, I tried really hard!)

I really like the idea of this collection and I adore the colours. My favorites are Big Brother, Just Bitten and Premonition tho I love them all, those are just the 3 I use the most. The colours are really pigmented and when used wet they look really shimmery and Mind Reader and Black Ice are like paint with sparkle in them, really good for eyeliners. The only con I can think of about this collection is that I really wish that there weren't two pearly whites especially because they look almost exactly the same. Skin of a Killer has gold shimmer in it which is I guess supposed to be the difference between the two but you can't really tell unless you look closely.
As a bit of an easter egg, the labels like I said are different from the non twi-shadows and the font's are also different. The font used for glamour doll is Alice's hand writing and where it says the name of the colour and whom it's inspired by is Twilight font. I think that's really cute and I like how Vee took the time to find those fonts and make the twi-shadows that much special.

Anyways, I highly recommend you buying these, you will not be disappointed!

♥XO♥

I was not paid to do this review or compensated in anyway. All products were bought with my own money and these are my true and honest opinions.
